For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. . .Matthew 25: 35-36 As the church that feeds people: Soul, Mind, and Body, the people of All Saints are continually working to learn from the community and work to serve how we can. This is done through both programs in and around the church, as well as elsewhere in the community. For more information about All Saints' outreach missions, please contact us HERE.
Grateful Threads members knit or crochet prayer shawls, lap throws, caps, mittens and other items to provide warmth for those around us in need. These will be donated to ministries that care for the homeless and needy in our area. We have extra donated materials and a number of patterns to choose from or make up your own!
Mobile Food Pantry volunteers help set up and tear down for our monthly (last Saturday of the month) mobile food pantry events, and welcome and assist guests as they select food. The Mobile Food Pantry regularly serves about 150 families with food provided by Food Bank for the Heartland. All ages are welcome to volunteer at Mobile Food Pantry events.
Pantry on Blondo volunteers help restock the pantry from our supplies, organize new clothing donations, and assist guests who come on Monday mornings as they select food and clothing. We often serve 20 or more guests in the span of two hours! Donations can be made during normal church office hours.
The United Thank Offering (UTO) is a ministry of The Episcopal Church for the mission of the whole church. Through UTO, individuals are invited to embrace and deepen a personal daily spiritual discipline of gratitude. UTO encourages people to notice the good things that happen each day, give thanks to God for those blessings and make an offering for each blessing using a UTO Blue Box.
