We’ve got a lot going on

Here is where you can see our special community, outreach, fellowship, service, and mission events. Some happen weekly or monthly. Some are annual. When you see something you’d like to know more about, inquire by the contact form. We’re excited to be with you!

Angel Tree for YES
Through this project, we help Youth Emergency Services (YES), the local organization that serves more than 2,000 young people every year through Street Outreach and Emergency Shelter, a Transitional Living Program, and a Maternity Home. YES is the only Omaha metro organization specifically providing these services to homeless youth ages 12 to 21 empowering them to be self-sufficient.
Each November, we stand up an Angel Tree in the Narthex. The angels on the tree give suggestions for donations. When you take an angel from the YES Angel Tree, we ask that the items you purchase be new and able to be returned, unwrapped (in the store bag is fine), and placed in the large gift box in the Narthex by December 16. There will be a separate box for gift cards. All gift cards should be in $10 or $20 amounts.

Other Events
Summer Lunch Programs
In the summer, food insecurity is acutely felt when schools are not in session and providing food for children. In Summer 2025, we will gather on Tuesday and Thursday mornings to pack 200 lunches. In partnership with our sister church, New Life Presbyterian, we will then deliver the food to families in need every Tuesday. On Thursdays, we will deliver lunches to additional programs in our community.
Blessing of the Animals
For our celebration of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, we gather on the church lawn with our furry, feathered, and scaly family members for a special blessing encouraging our stewardship of all creation and giving thanksgiving for the love and joy we find in creation, especially in our pets.
First Friday Movie Night
On the first Friday of every month, we gather for a family-friendly movie in the Activity Room. Snacks and drinks are provided!
