The Pantry on Blondo continues to grow and serve the community, and recently celebrated its first full year of operation. Each Monday morning, the food and clothing pantry are open to anyone who comes by. Often there will be 20 or more guests in the span of two hours! Your direct food contributions to the grocery cart in the Narthex and monetary support make this important part of our Outreach mission possible. Recently, the pantry was a direct recipient of surplus non-perishable food from the Christian Outreach Program in Elkhorn. With this windfall, The Pantry on Blondo is very well stocked with needed basic non-perishables for the near-term, but is still in need of protein items (especially canned tuna and chicken), personal care items, and diapers. We would appreciate your continued donations to the grocery cart in the Narthex, but please carefully consider these needs in selecting donated goods.
